Many times I have said to our students, “If we boast about trusting the Lord for our eternity, then it should be no problem for us to trust Him for today.”
Well the other day as our pastor/elder (Scott) was praying, he said – “If we truly believe you have taken away every sin, then cancer… well it is child’s play.” I was again reminded that we proclaim the cleansing power of Jesus Christ to all those in the world who do not see the need for Him. We are reminded in Col. 1:14 – “in whom (Jesus) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin…” Col. 1:20 – “and by Him (Jesus) to reconcile all thing to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through His shed blood on the cross.”
So with this precious faith given to us to know that He has cleansed us from every sin… what is cancer to Him… it is nothing in comparison.
